| Nagaur Cattle Fair—Nagaur, Rajasthan |
This five days fair held every year during the month of Jan-Feb, is popularly known as the Cattle fair and is the second largest in Rajasthan. Nagau
r Town is the most picturesque of Rajput townships.
The Fair is renowned for the trading of cows, bullocks, oxen, camels and horses, which takes place here. Their owners are seen wearing colourful turbans and flaunting long moustaches. Exciting games, tug of war, camel races and strains of ballads create a joyful atmosphere. Wooden items, iron craft and leather accessories are available in abundance during the fair. Mirchi Bazaar (Red Chilly Market) is another attraction of the fair.
